Screenwriting workshop at Art Film Fest!

The programme is aimed at current students of direction, screenwriting and production as well as recent film-school graduates. Under the supervision of experienced instructors, participants will receive feedback on their projects and have the opportunity to improve them and prepare them for the next phase of development. The workshop’s cornerstone is above all the application of the dramaturgical methodology of world-renowned professor František Daniel, who successfully applied it in Prague, Western Europe as well as the USA. The workshop’s instructors will be Martin Daniel, professor at the University of Southern California and screenwriter with far-reaching international experience, FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) Dean Pavel Jech, who is preparing a lecture on the development of short-film screenplays, as well as Milena Jelinek, screenwriting professor at USA’s Columbia University and author of the screenplay for the film Forgotten Light (Zapomenuté světlo, 1996). Among the artistic consultants will be Zuzana Gindl-Tatárová, dramaturgist, screenwriter, professor and vice-dean of international relations at VŠMU (Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava).
