  accompanied by a monetary prize of 15 000,- €
• Blue Angel for Best Director
  accompanied by a monetary prize of 5 000,- €
• Blue Angel for Best Female Performance
  accompanied by a monetary prize of 2 500,- €
• Blue Angel for Best Male Performance
  accompanied by a monetary prize of 2 500,- €

In the International Competition of Short Films:

• On the Road
  Award for best short film under 30 minutes accompanied by a monetary prize of 5 000,- €

Special Festival Awards

The Actor’s Mission Award

Every year since 1995, the Art Film Festival has bestowed international cinema figures with the Actor’s Mission Award for their exceptional contribution to the art of film acting.  The prize takes the form of a brass plaque, which the awarded actors personally place on the Bridge of Fame in Trenčianske Teplice.  The prize has been received by thirty-eight prominent national and international performers so far, including Franco Nero, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Gina Lollobrigida, Jozef Króner, Geraldine Chaplin, Vlastimil Brodský, Iva Janžurová, Catherine Denevue, Nastassja Kinski, Jacqueline Bisset, Dagmar Veškrnová-Havlová, Mirjana Karanović, Marián Labuda, Isabelle Huppert, Ivan Palúch, Liv Ullmann, Omar Sharif and Chiara Caselli.

The Golden Camera Award

The Golden Camera is awarded to domestic and foreign film professionals of any kind for their extraordinary contribution to cinema.  Some of those awarded have been: Dušan Hanák, Andrzej Wajda, Miklós Jancsó, Tibor Biath, Oleg Tabakov, Roman Polanski, Jiří Menzel, Krzysztof Zanussi, Miroslav Ondříček and Tonino Guerra.
