Jairo Boisier Olave

Jairo Boisier Olave was born in Talcahuano, Chile in 1975. He studied sociology and worked for many years as an audience researcher and teacher. At the same time he made several short films, whose highlights include “El nuevo” (The New Guy) and “Vestido” (Dressed), selected for the Clermont- Ferrand International Short Film Festival and over 30 others around the world. In 2010 he wrote and directed his first feature-length film “La jubilada” (The Retired), which won the Work in Progress Prize at the Festival International de Belfort and was internationally premiered at Rotterdam. He currently lives in Paris, developing his upcoming feature “Radiestesia” as a resident at the Cinéfondation of the Cannes IFF.

Tim Redford

Tim Redford was born in the United Kingdom but has lived most of his life in France, where he gained experience working for Sauve Qui Peut le Court Métrage, the organizing association behind the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, until 2004. He then moved back to the UK where he worked as Project and Festival Manager for Signals Media Arts. For the last six years, Redford has been the director of the Curtocircuito International Short Film Festival in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Radka Weiserová

Radka Weiserová was born in Prague in 1978. She graduated in Cultural Studies at Charles University’s Faculty of Arts in 2005. From 2000 to 2006 she worked for Karlovy Vary IFF’s Film Industry Office, and since 2003 she has collaborated on several projects with the Czech Institute of Documentary Film in Prague. Since 2007 Weiserová has organized the Fresh Film Fest Inter- national Festival of First Features and Student Films, recently becoming its director. She also organizes and selects films for the Prague Short Film Festival, founded in 2005.
