FÓRUM 2012

 

FÓRUM is an event aimed at supporting the promotion, presentation, potential co-production, festival strategy and sales of Slovak films on the international market. FÓRUM 2012 will take place within 20th Art Film Fest IFF in Trenčianske Teplice, from June 19 to 22, 2012.

 

FÓRUM is intended for Slovak film producers, students and graduates of film production studies. The event provides a unique opportunity to participate in master classes, group trainings and individual consultations with internationally renowned experts. However, master classes are open to the accredited festival visitors, professional public, students and journalists as well.  

 

Selected projects will take part at the PANEL of Upcoming Slovak Feature Films, the presentation of upcoming film projects. The presentation will be held on Friday, June 22nd, and it will be open also to the festival visitors, professionals, students and journalists.

Charlie Cockey, USA – co-programmer for the Berlin film festival “Around the World in 14 Films”, European Film Programmer for Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, musician

 

Tomáš Vaverka, Czech Republic – director, cinematographer, photographer and graphic designer, renowned creator of marketing campaigns and packaging of Czech and Foreign films, founder of the Vavfilm studio

 

Jean-Luc Ormières, France – independent producer, founder of the UniversCiné VoD platform

 

Ján Odzgan, Slovak republic – independent trainer and consultant in media communication and presentation skills

 

Marta Lamperová, Slovak republic – head of FAMU Production studies, lecturer and decision maker of many international programs for the film producers
