Atelier 307: “The Bridge” and “Breakfast On the Grass” II.

Atelier 307 was founded in 2010 by four scenography students at Bratislava’s Academy of Performing Arts: Hana Ciglanová, Veronika Keresztesová, Michaela Mokrá and Gabriela Paschová. Their work consists of stage and costume design, promotional graphic design and installations. At last year’s Art Film Fest they introduced their installation “The Bridge”, which pointed out the ridiculousness of placing a bridge in a park, as well as the short eco-happening entitled “Breakfast On the Grass”, which not only spiced up a Sunday morning but also drew the diners’ attention to ecological problems.

This year’s Atelier 307 installation is along similar lines, asking age-old questions but searching for new answers. The piece can’t be missed – you’ll find it on the bridge that isn’t a bridge at all. And Atelier 307 haven’t forgotten about breakfast either – on Sunday morning in the park they’ll offer a tasty bite and more ecologically-oriented food for thought.
