Love and Anarchy (LA)

The programme section Love and Anarchy focuses on contemporary works characterised by a love for cinematic modes of expression, their unconventional application and use as a storytelling device. An anarchic and playful approach is vital in that it breaks current conventions, clichés and stereotypes. Thus these will be in a certain sense experimental films, exceptional and quintessential examples of cinema as art. The section mainly consists of works focusing on eternal human issues: love, hate, chaos and the impossibility of reciprocal communication.

Love and Anarchy 2010 will present cinematic works connected to the search for new forms and new ways of storytelling – works that demonstrate the many possible directions the future of cinema may take.
