Tao Peng (1974, Beijing) received his bachelor's degree from the Art Department of the Beijing Film Academy in 2004. He received the Outstanding Short Film Award at the Beijing Student Film Festival with Story in the Winter in 2002. He graduated with a short film titled Goodbye Childhood. In March 2007 he finished his first feature film Little Moth (Xue Chan) on which he worked as producer, scriptwriter and director.
